Technical characteristics: on a silk background, approx. 80% silk, surrounded by lamb kork wool on foundations: warps, weft and silk fringes.
Density: Approx. 15,000 knots per dm2 (remarkable fineness). Very good general condition. Beautiful freshness of colours. Silk ivory field with palmette ramages in polychrome volutes framing a large multicoloured star-shaped central floral rose window surrounded by a crown of flowers in the shape of stylized diamonds. Four old pink crenellated spandrels reminiscent of the central medallion. Triple borders, the main beige silk border has palmettes of flowers surrounded by thin stems with botehs and stylized ruby and pale blue foliage.
