First collective edition of the works of George Sand.
Copy with the following 10 original editions: The Marquise; Letters from a traveller; The Last Aldini; The Master Mosaicists; The Uscoque; Spiridion; The Seven Strings of the Lyre; Gabriel; Pauline and A Winter in Majorca which contains the rare advertising poster (200 x 302 mm) engraved on wood and partially coloured.
Mauprat is here in its second edition. The beautiful portrait engraved by Calamatta, dated 1837, is bound at the top of Volume XIII (Leone Leoni).
Very good copy. Scattered freckles, volume XXV related to imitation.
