Women. Printed "under the coat" and not sold anywhere, 1890. In-8 (212 x 138 mm) of 68 pp., 2 ff.n.ch.; blue semi-percaline, light green cover preserved (original binding). Clouzot, 267; Pia, Enfer, 500; Dutel, 291. Original edition, "almost impossible to find", according to Pia. It was published under the cloak in Brussels by Kistemaeckers, in a limited edition of 175 numbered copies, printed on vellum dyed to shape. These 18 obscene poems by Verlaine, dedicated to heterosexual debauchery, followed on from the Friends and Daughters in the Parallèlement collection. Exceptional exemplary, (number 127), enriched by the autograph poem "Royal Tastes", the fourth in this collection. It is dated and signed "4 8bre.89 P. Verlaine". Poem with erasures and tears. Nice copy.
