In-12 (125 x 70 mm) of an engraved frontispiece, 207 pp., 3 ff.n.ch.; half green calf, smooth back, yellow speckled edges (19th century binding). Yve-Plessis, 1633. Small format edition of this famous biography of Dr. Faust. "Widmann tells all the stories of Dr. Faust: how he ate a valet; when he enchanted a knight with a deer's head, etc." Harrewyn's engraved frontispiece represents Faust in the midst of demons. Modest copy, short of margins, browned, and with spots.
