Full olive morocco, mosaic dishes of pieces with vegetable decoration forming a puzzle, smooth back with title and author, golden slices, guard of olive green suede, shirt in olive half maroquin with olive suede counter plates, case, illustrated cover of the 1st engraving or bearded man's head and preserved backs (Leroux). Cramer 108 - Bloch 995-998. Total edition at 56 copies, this one n°26 out of 44 put on the market, signed by the publisher and the artist at the colophon. Illustrated with the 4 etchings on celluloid, one of which is mounted on the title, this exceptional copy is enriched with 11 additional plates, including 2 cover tests, 2 proofs of the 2nd etching with different inks; 4 tests of the 3rd etching, each annotated by PAB; 3 tests of the last etching, 2 of which with different inks and the 3rd on green paper annotated by PAB "1st test on July 60 macule paper" and signed. Very beautiful and sober binding by Georges Leroux.
