A tall porcelain figurine KPM Berlin, circa 1770 This figurine named « The Russian Jew » was manufactured after the model designed by Wilhelm Christian Meyer in 1770. This model was part of a table decoration offered to the Empress Katharina II of Russia by the Emperor Friedrich II. The figurine represents an elegantly dressed Jewish merchant holding a gold coin in his hand.
