Iris et Petite Fumée. Carcassonne, 1939. Signed autograph manuscript of 81 pages in-8 on different coloured papers: half red basane, spine with false nerves (slightly later binding). Autograph manuscript: it offers an unpublished version, very different from the printed version Inscribed on papers of different colours - straw yellow, pink, blue, orange - it includes almost the entire work: it lacks the text of the last three pages of the printed book (which counts 139). Beautiful autograph letter signed: to Louis Toulzet in all friendship these pages of my truest book Joe Carcassonne June 27, 1939 A Carcassonne personality and friend of Bousquet, Louis Toulzet ran a drugstore in Place Carnot: in the bear of the literary review Chantiers, of which Bousquet was the secretary and one of the main contributors, Louis Toulzet is listed as the commercial director. The manuscript also bears the stamp of Marcel-Yves Toulzet (1919-2000), son of the dedicatee, journalist at the Midi-Libre and writer. Attached: Iris et Petite Fumée. Paris, GLM, 1939.
