The Immaculate Conception. Paris, Éditions surréalistes and José Corti, 1930. In-4 : white half vellum with bands, smooth spine, red morocco title, untrimmed, gilt head, cover and spine preserved (G. Gauché). First edition. One of 100 copies on Hollande Van Gelder paper (nº 63), signed by the two authors, the third paper after 4 chine (and not 1 as announced) and 10 japon. These copies are the only ones to be decorated with the engraving. Famous heliogravure composition by Salvador Dalí in the frontispiece. Two-part mailing signed by the two authors in ink and then in coloured pencils: Copy of (here, a missing person; which one?) "le vent se mêle à la fumée" (page 100) homage André Breton Paul Eluard and better, to Robert Valançay "ne t'attends jamais" his friends Paul Eluard André Breton
