Chased bronze Kiss of Peace representing the Lamentation over the dead Christ; architectural frame with fluted columns and pediment topped by a mascaron; inscription in the base PIETAS ADOMNIA [Piety is useful to all] (I Tim., IV, v.8) on a cut leather.

There are many variants of this composition by Moderno, some of them late 17th century. This one, with its scrolled pediment and columns flanked by buttresses, is among the early 16th century fonts.
