Pope (Alexander VII?) in carved, gilded and polychromed wood, back roughened. Seated in a ceremonial pulpit, he raises his right arm in a gesture of blessing and should hold his crozier (disappeared) with the other; wearing the papal tiara and gloved, he is clothed in a belted alb and a cope, attached to the chest by a clasp, with a flap returning to the front of the knees; Back of the pulpit with springs and volutes, armrests with crooks and uprights with claw feet decorated with acanthus leaves; beautiful polychrome and gilding of the vestments with floral decoration a scraffiato. Spain, 17th century Height : 57 cm - Width : 28 cm - Depth : 27 cm (very slight accidents)
