Brindestoc, Brandistocco, Italie début XVIe siècle. An Italian Brandistocco, early 16th century. With long slender tapering double-edged blade cut with a pair of grooves flanking a pronounced medial ridge on both sides, a pair of up-curled tapering lugs each pierced with a small circular hole at its base and struck with a mark, and faceted tubular socket fitted with short straps, on a later octagonal wooden haft.
