Together five volumes in-18, contemporary bindings in brown long-grained morocco, double framed with gilt fillets with corner motifs enhanced by mosaic pastilles in red morocco, finely decorated and mosaic spines, inner returns decorated with gilt fillets, gilt edges (Simier, R. du Roi). First printing. 103 steel-engraved vignettes after Alfred and Tony Johannot, Charlet, Grenier, Grandville, etc., here in a blank print before the letter. A copy with the very first printing remarks pointed out by Carteret (signature Perrotin, publisher on 22 plates). A delightful copy, exquisitely bound by Simier. A few light freckles.
