Laville, Célestin Nanteuil, Grandville, Pauquet, etc. Paris, Barbier, 1846. Large in-8, midnight blue half-maroquin with corners, spine ribbed, untrimmed, illustrated cover and spine preserved (E. Maylander). First edition. 32 figures out of the text and numerous woodcut drawings in the text. "A very well printed work on fine wove paper" (Carteret, III, p. 96). Copy with hors texte printed on chine (from an edition of 500 copies according to a prospectus quoted by Carteret).
