Wooden case with a pastiglia decoration on a gold background on all sides. Between colonnette uprights: front depicting Marcus Atilius Regulus standing in the spiked barrel surrounded by Carthaginian soldiers; on the back, Judith holding the head of Holofernes standing on a pedestal bearing the inscription SPQR (Senatus Populusque Romanus "The Senate and the Roman People") with, around her, Roman soldiers surmounted by standards; on the left side, Pyramus and Thybe? Cupid standing on a brazier cocking his bow which dominates the scene; right side, the Judgement of Paris. Umbilical lid surrounded by genii holding a crown in a frame in relief of oak leaves; opening of the lid with a spring button. Northern Italy, Ferrara or Padua, end of the 15th century Height: 8.7 cm - Length: 16.1 cm - Depth: 10.8 cm (some missing parts and accidents)
