Henry IV : 5 f.n.c., 502 pp., 14 f.n.c. for volume I; 1 f.n.c., 587 pp, 587 pp. 18 ff.n.c. for volume II; 1 f.n.c., 552 pp. 18 ff.n.c. for volume III; 5 f.n.c., 502 pp. 14 ff.n.c. for volume IV. Marbled calf, triple gilt fillet, spine ribbed and decorated, red and green morocco title and gilt edges (period binding). Brunet, III, 1018. Complete collection of these two important diaries, the one of the reign of Henry III in a new edition, the following one in its original edition. "The first of these two diaries is less easily found than the second" (Brunet). A very good copy, with minor wear to the bindings. Provenance: Jacques Teutsch (20th century engraved bookplate).
