[La Rôtisserie de la Reine Pédauque]. [Paris, Pelletan, 1911]. Large folio album (462 x 332 mm) composed of 64 leaves with 71 original drawings or sketches by Auguste Leroux mounted under passepartouts, some of them signed (name or initials). Jansenist blue morocco spine, blue silk endpapers and lining, endpapers set with a gilt frame and mosaic of red morocco, gilt edges (H. Blanchetière, 1923), matching slipcase. See Monod, 4945 n& Talvart-Palce, 26-B. Unique collection of original compositions, created by Auguste Leroux for the first illustrated edition of La Reine Pédauque, published by Pelletan in 1911. The drawings are all mounted under passepartouts, revealing the front cover which from time to time is also decorated with a drawing. Joints slightly rubbed. Provenance: ex-libris Colonel Sicklès and H. Lebaudy.
