In-12 [156 x 106] of 55 pp, (2) ff. the last blank : black and gold box, decorated on the boards with an alignment of gilt squares, smooth spine, black and gold box lining decorated with an alignment of black squares, dark blue and black paper endpapers, double endpapers, gilt head, untrimmed, dark blue box folder decorated in the center of the boards with a large vertical band of three gilt squares, slipcase (Louise Bescond 2012). First edition: limited edition of 691 copies. ONE OF 22 COPIES ON VELLUM OF THE MARSH (N° 19). Letters of Antonin Artaud addressed to Henri Parisot, written from the asylum of Rodez from 1943 to 1946. Despite the electroshock and the famine endured, he affirms his will to live the poetry. Beautiful decorated binding by Louise Bescond, executed in 2012. French bookbinder based in Belgium, Louise Bescond has established herself in recent years as one of the major designers of the early twenty-first century.
