Limited edition of 515 copies: one of 500 on white vellum (nº 494). Beautiful copy enriched at the end with an infra-thin autograph, written in pencil: when the smoke of // tobacco smells also from the // mouth that exhales it, // the two smells // marry each other by // infra-thin // Marcel Duchamp For Marcel Duchamp (1887-1968), the infra-thin designates the imperceptible. He gave it an intellectual and sensitive dimension in order to translate the artistic quest for the most tenuous forms. The autograph inframince was printed at the head of the n° 7 of the magazine Les Quatre vents in 1947. There is at least one other copy in the Georges Pompidou Center. Two tears on the back.
