FIRST EDITION: 60 COPIES OF THIS BOOK WERE PRINTED ON LANA DE DOCELLES PAPER. One of 52 nominative copies, this one printed especially for the writer, journalist and screenwriter Henri Jeanson (1900-1970). First book published at the expense of Cineastes Bibliophiles (Jean-Jacques Pauvert): the play will be played for the first time on February 26, 1949 on the stage of the Théâtre des Mathurins, in a staging by Jean Marchat and the author. Haute Surveillance, constantly reworked, was published five times. A very well preserved copy, partly uncut.
