Large in-8, [269 x 191] of a frontispiece, (2) ff., 89 pp., (1) f., 3 plates : half black morocco with corners, gilt filets, spine decorated in the center with a gilt beetle and mosaic of beige morocco, surrounded by gilt leaves, gilt head, untrimmed, cover and spine kept (Septier). Edition illustrated with 12 compositions in black and in colors after Georges Rochegrosse. Edition at 675 copies: one of 479 on Arches vellum, containing a state of the line and a complete state of the figures in colors. Small loss at the head cap, slight cracks at the hinge of the first plate, rubbing at the nerves.
