SCHWOB, Marcel.
La Croisade des enfants. Paris, Éditions du Mercure de France, 1896. In-12 [170 x 117] of (2) blank pages, 81 pp, (5) pages, the last 2 blank : red jansenist morocco, spine ribbed, five gold fillets inside, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and spine preserved (Canape). First edition printed at 500 copies. The cover is illustrated with a very beautiful symbolist lithograph in colors by Maurice Delcourt (1877-1916). One of the 10 copies on japon impérial. The story is inspired by a historical fact that occurred in 1212. One of Dr. Faustroll's Pair Books. A choice copy from the Henri Thuile library, with bookplate.
