Joint, in the same binding : Considérations sur la FranCe. New edition, the only one revised and corrected by the author; followed by the Essay on the generating principle of political constitutions and other human institutions. Third edition, revised and corrected. Paris, Potey, 1821. In-8 of XIV, 367, (1) pp. New edition, revised by the author, to which the editor has added the Essay on the generating principle of political constitutions, originally published in 1810. It is also enriched with the letter of M. O., General in the service of H. M. the emperor of all the Russias, addressed to De Maistre after the reading of the Considerations, and with a Postscript of the author. Nice copies belonging to a set of De Maistre's works, uniformly and elegantly bound at the time (volumes not tipped in).
