Two volumes in-8, contemporary binding in tobacco chagrin lined with red morocco, double set of gilt fillets on the boards, lining decorated with a double set of four straight and broken gilded fillets intersecting in a frame of bold and thin fillets, gilt edges (Capé). First printing. General frontispiece engraved on wood by Brévière, printed on chine volant, four title-frontispieces and 450 woodcut vignettes by Grandville.
