A handsome six-light chandelier in carved and gilded wood with mecca, featuring Neoclassical décor of pearl-tied rings, gadroons, oves, acanthus leaves, Greek foliage, rosettes and pompons. The baluster-shaped shaft, fluted at the top, features six arms adorned with large acanthus leaves. The lower part forms a cul-de-lampe decorated with water leaves and laurels. Italy. First Neoclassical period, circa 1770. H_100 cm D_95 cm Restoration.
