Curved game table in veneer, satinwood frieze, amaranth wood, chased and gilded bronze. The removable rectangular top is encircled by a molded moulding. It features a chessboard flanked by two reserves decorated with flowering stems. The reverse is sheathed in gilded leather. It reveals a tric-trac game with thirty chips (fifteen white, fifteen green) and two removable double candlesticks.
It opens with a side drawer featuring an oak inlay in the waistband, decorated with flowering stems and foliage. The unit stands on cambered and pinched legs. Rococo-style chased, gilded and openwork bronze trim: lingotière, astragals, falls and set sabots.
