Iran qâjâr, late 19th - early 20th century
Qalyan hookah with ovoid body topped by a cylindrical neck flaring out at the top and connected to a campaniform stove by chains. In metal, with enameled floral decoration punctuated by medallions and arcatures, a frieze of portraits in medallions running along the shoulder, the stove partially openworked with medallions with floral decoration animated by birds. Set on a tripod base with a pipe attached to the side. At the top, a metal element with several spigots and pearl decoration, probably foreign to the piece.
