Letter of provisional appointment of citizen Vannucci as aide commissaire des guerres "to supervise the various services in Ajaccio"; he will be attached to citizen Gondin "solely responsible for those of the places of Bastia, St-Florent Corti and Calvy"; appointment approved by PAOLI general-in-chief commanding the 23rd Military Division in Corsica, "on the good testimonies that have been rendered to us of the civic-mindedness, zeal and intelligence of the citizen in charge"; following are the qualities on which he will have to answer to the administration: "(....) all that will be useful and necessary to ensure that the hospitals are well administered, and in general to do everything that can contribute to facilitating military operations (...)".
