Exceptional, very fine and important Ispahan in silky lambswool velvet on silk and cotton foundation.
Density. Approx. 9000 knots per dm2
Ivory field decorated with polychrome flowering palmettes surrounded by fine stylized foliage stems adorned with a large central ruby, beige and blue floral rosette in the form of a stylized diamond. Four spandrels with floral wreaths and finely drawn floral bulbs in the form of pendants. Five borders, the main one in ruby with motifs reminiscent of the central field.
