Built up over a lifetime of research, discoveries and acquisitions, this collection brings together works that have not been seen for several decades.
Rich in remarkable ensembles, admirable ancient and modern drawings and previously unseen paintings, it illustrates the keen eye of a collector who knew how to recognize the strength of a hand, the elegance of a school and the depth of a pictorial gesture.
