ROCA, FRANÇOIS

François Roca est né à Lyon en 1971. Il a suivi les cours de l'École nationale des arts appliqués Olivier de Serres à Paris, et a ensuite étudié l'illustration à l'école Émile Cohl. En 1996, il illustre son premier livre, La reine des fourmis a disparu, basé sur un texte de son ami Fred Bernard. À ce jour, il a illustré plus de vingt livres, et collabore régulièrement avec le magazine Télérama. François Roca was born in Lyon in 1971. He attended the National School of Applied Arts Olivier de Serres in Paris, in the Image and Communication department, and then Emile Cohl's School to study illustration. In 1996, he started accomplishing illustrations for children: The Queen of Ants has disappeared, based on a text by his friend Fred Bernard. Francois Roca illustrated more than 20 books. He regularly collaborates with the news magazine Télérama.
