Masse d'armes de parement, damasquinée or et argent, dans le style italien du milieu XVIe siècle, XIXe siècle. A parade mace damascened in gold and silver, in the Italian style of the mid-16th century, 19th century. Made entirely of iron, the head formed of seven flanges each rising to a point in the middle, brazed onto a tubular core with button finial and the borders lightly damascened with silver scrollwork, octagonal tubular haft pierced for a thong and decorated over its length with alternating panels of scrollwork and stylised pineapple chequering lightly damascened in silver within gold borders, the grip decorated en suite, and all on a lightly incised darkened ground.
