Dague à rognons de style flamand, la lame probablement fin XVe début XVIe siècle. A Low Countries ballock dagger, the blade probably late 15th-early 16th century. The blade long, slender, sharply tapering to a narrow point and of triangular section with a robust back-edge decorated with bevelled edges in two stages, short ricasso, later hilt formed with a small iron guard arched over the edges of the ricasso, carved horn grip faceted and ribbed for the hand, with a pair of nodules at the base, fitted with brass fillets at both ends, and with moulded flat iron pommel-cap. L. overall: 39.2 cm.
