Il a été récompensé à maintes reprises: il a reçu le Silver Clio des Clio Awards à New York en 1993, le prix du meilleur illustrateur des Caran d'Ache Awards à Rome en 1995, le prix de l'École supérieure de l'image et l'Alph-Art du meilleur album étranger, au festival d'Angoulême en 2001. Carlos Nine works as illustrator, comics author and several books author. His works have been published in Argentina, Italy, Spain, France, belgium, Great Britain, Germany, USA, Brazil, Taiwan and Hong Kong. He was awarded on several occasions as Silver Clio on Caran d'Ache Award as best illustrator (Rome, Italy, 1995) Angouleme Prize in 2001 and fi rst prize to the best album of foreign author translated into French at the Angouleme Festival (2001).
