WAR. Sitting on two feet, this warrior wields his club with both hands across his chest. The latter is protected by a circular armor that encompasses it to the shoulders. This armor is decorated with cream-coloured zigzag paintings. The helmet, another element of its function, is animated on the surface by striations and two fins. It is adorned with a necklace and earrings. These warrior figures, placed as offerings, had a protective role and accompanied the deceased on his journey to the afterlife.
Terracotta with red slip and cream and black decorations. Significant traces of manganese oxide.
