Wooden ciborium case in red morocco with a small iron bearing the coat of arms of the Cardinal Duke of York, Henri Benoît Stuart (1725-1807) : Spread: on 1 and 4, counterchanged Azure three fleurs-de-lis Or (of France) and Gules three leopards Or (of England); on 2, a lion Gules, a double tressure flory and counterchanged Gules (of Scotland) ; in the 3 Azure, a harp Or stringed Argent (from Ireland); with a crescent Argent in the centre; set with palmettes and foliated scrolls; closing with six hooks. England, late 18th century Height: 20.5 cm - Width: 11.5 cm - Depth: 11.5 cm (one hook is missing, glued to the neck)
