Decorated with woodcuts drawn and engraved by Jean-Vital Prost. [Paris], Les Editions du Cadran, s.d. [1937]. In-8 square of 70, (1) pp. and (1) f., navy blue jansenist maroquin, spine ribbed with gilt title, large inside return decorated with a double gilt bookmark, marbled paper lining and endpapers powdered with gold, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and spine preserved, case (Semet et Plumelle). First edition Portraits out of text, headers and footers engraved on wood in bistre. A very fine copy, one of the 10 numbered first editions on Japon (n° 6), enriched on one of the blank leaves with this autograph letter signed by Maurras: To the Viscount of Carlow/very cordial homage/of a Frenchman/amazed, the author/Ch.M.
