Original edition of Jean Arp's poems illustrated by himself with 19 original woodcuts engraved in colors, one on the case and one on the cover. Limited edition of 185 copies on Rives vellum. Exhibition copy n° I/III, signed by the artist, from the archives of the publisher Louis Broder. The copy is complete with the additional woodcut in colours, which must be enclosed: artist's proof printed on Auvergne paper with the watermark "Arp", signed and justified. The suite includes 16 woodcuts on the 19 illustrating the book; it does not include the three vignettes in the text (from pages 35, 46 and 60), which were not included in the suites. Also included are 11 print vouchers, signed by Arp and dated from April to October 1964. Finally, fragments of the working model of the last pages (illustrated with two woodblocks), various typographical essays with Arp's name, and two essays of a small poster announcing the publication are attached.
