To Louis Aragon
Louis Aragon in a basket strangling his mother torturing his sister burning his father
Suddenly the handle of the basket sang
Did you see the bottles of the waterfall Did you touch the brains of the oak
Benjamin Péret October 1, 1925
Four years later, Benjamin
Péret and Louis Aragon composed together 1929, the famous collection of erotic poems illustrated with Man Ray's photographs, published clandestinely in Brussels.
Péret was one of the most critical after Aragon's break with the surrealist group.
A nice copy in spite of the slightly browned spine.
