Important handwritten letter from André Breton in green ink with signatures of the three authors in three different colours: To Robert Valançay this axe embroidery André Breton René Char Paul Eluard Poet close to the surrealist movement, friend and translator of Max Ernst and Hans Arp, Robert Valançay (1903-1984) was to sign in 1935 the collective pamphlet "Du temps que les surréalistes avaient raison" (From the time the surrealists were right), which marked the break with the communist party. Most of his poems have been collected in Mots desserre-freins, each section of which is dedicated to a surrealist: Bellmer, Eluard, Arp, Marcel Jean, Picabia.
