La Chassomanie, poem. Decorated with sixteen large two-tone drawings, compositions by Messrs. Alfred de Dreux, Beaume, Forest, Foussereau and Valerio. Paris, au Comptoir des Imprimeurs-réunis, 1844. In-8, brown half-maroquin with long grain and corners, spine ribbed and decorated with special irons, untrimmed, blue illustrated covers and spine kept (Stroobants). First edition and first printing. 16 lithographs on tinted background. A perfect copy, bound in booklet form, with its very nice cover, illustrated on both sides with vignettes not contained in the volume. From the libraries of Victor Mercier (II, 1937, n° 1238) and Georges Baillon with ex-libris.
