In-8, publisher's midnight blue percaline boards decorated on the first plate with a large gilt genre scene signed Liebherre and a gilt ornamental motif on the second plate, spine decorated along with anchor and boat motifs, gilt edges. First edition. A frontispiece by Perrot and 8 steel-engraved plates outside the text under silk paper serpents illustrate these adventures of famous sailors. Pleasant copy of this unusual work in its attractive publisher's freshly printed boards.
