Un hiver à Paris - L'été à Paris. Paris, Curmer, Aubert et Cie, s.d. (1843). Two works in two large volumes in-8, uniform period bindings in green chagrin, cold scrolls and gilt arabesques criss-crossing the boards in a frame of a cold scroll and a gilt fillet, ornamented ribbed spine, white moire endpapers, gilt edges. Original editions and first printings. Wood-engraved vignettes on the titles, 18 steel-engraved plates out of text by Eugène Lami protected by serpents and numerous wood-engraved vignettes in the text for each of the two works. A very fine and scarce collection of the two works in attractive uniform contemporary bindings, impeccably preserved, without any freckles. Uniform browning to the serpents of L' été à Paris.
