Mémoires de Ninon de Lenclos. Paris, Gustave Havard, 1857. Two large volumes in-8, half lavaliere leather with corners, spines decorated with red and green mosaic pastilles, untrimmed, illustrated covers and spine preserved (Champs - Stroobants). First edition. Portrait of Ninon de Lenclos engraved on steel in frontispiece, vignette on the title and 19 plates out of text engraved on wood after Beaucé. Excellent historical novel by Eugène de Mirecourt, one of the literary negroes of Alexandre Dumas. A very fine copy, enriched with the complete set of blue covers for the ten series, preserved as new. From the Victor Mercier library with bookplate and autograph mention of collation dated October 15, 1906.
