The portraits of the Doctor and Madame de La Tour in their version drawn by Tony Johannot, whose engraving was not completed when the first copies were put on sale, have been replaced here by their equivalents, called English portraits, extracted by Curmer from an English keepsake to make up for the absence of the first ones.
