Original edition. Naveau (1716-1762) collected a great deal of valuable information in this work, which Voltaire liked so much that he quoted and discussed it in L'Homme aux quarante écus. It contains an exposition of the doctrines of Sully, Colbert, Desmaretz, Law, Boisgilbert, Vauban, Montesquieu, and other great economists. A very good copy bearing the arms of the Marquis d'Osmond, husband of Marie-Anne-Thérèse Turgot.
