(of which the first is blank) XI, 267 pp. 1 f.n.ch. of justification. Terracotta morocco, boards decorated with a cold decoration and small gilt dots, decoration repeated on the smooth spine with the gilt title, sandy lining and endpapers, lining set with a gilt fillet and corner fleurons composed of the same iron as the one applied on the boards, gilt edges, cover and spine preserved (Georges Cretté) Missing from Monod. Very fine edition illustrated by J. Staal, given by the Société des Amis du Livre, presided over by Henri Béraldi and which counted among its members E. de Crauzat, G. de Ridder, the Marquis de Luppé, the Baron Seillière, P. Villeboed and Henri Vever. Limited edition of 105 numbered copies, this one nominative printed for Jean Lebaudy. An exceptional copy, enriched at the end with 9 original compositions by J. Stall (illustrating pages 13, 31, 47, 75, 79, 115, 169, 223, and 229), all accompanied by proofs of the print run and a colour breakdown with remarks by the printer. A fine copy, well bound by Cretté.
