This edition contains the life of Aesop by Planude, followed by fables, translated by "the most learned men" mainly Herman de Gouda and Adrien Barland, fables from the adages of Erasmus, extracts from Politian, Crinitus, Jean-Antoine Campanus, and fables of Abstemius. A fine copy, in its first soft vellum binding.
