Barbey d'Aurevilly The critic, librettist and translator Henri Trianon (1811-1896), had devoted several articles to Barbey's works in the Constitutionnel. A perfect copy with the autograph manuscript of the preface bound in black and red ink, signed J.B. d'A. The manuscript has two variants.
