In-16 [162 x 125] of (74) ff. the first and the last blank : brown calf on boards and rust on spine and bottom edge of boards, rust calf disc crossed with a silver lamé line, and author's name and title in capital letters partially lamé in silver on first board, smooth spine, gilt quintuple fillet inside, painted linings and endpapers, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and spine preserved, in brown morocco window box (Louise-Denise Germain for the binding and Boichot for the case). First edition. Collection dedicated to Roland Garros, whose layout and inspiration are close to the experiments of cubist poetry. Remarkable decorated binding by Louise-Denise Germain. "A disc glowing like a sun on the horizon illustrates the title which is progressively revealed by the play of the staples. The symbol is reinterpreted on the endpapers painted in the color of an emerald sea, in a very sober style" (Fabienne Le Bars). Cracked hinges. Scattered foxing.
