Autograph signed on the title page: to Félix Fénéon // in homage // André Gide Nice provenance of the art critic, writer and anarchist activist Félix Fénéon (1861-1944) for this exaltation of sensualism in which he found more than one illustration for his ideas. Fénéon was then the director of the Revue blanche where Gide had a platform and which had published Paludes in 1895. Paper browned and in places brittle. Provenance: Félix Fénéon, with a letter from the author - Hubert Heilbronn, with bookplate.
